Apple rumoured to be refreshing entire Mac line at WWDC
WWDC is almost here and so are the customary rumours. The latest one points to a possible refresh of hardware across the entire Mac line.

AppleInsider has reportedly spotted a list of part numbers that indicate refreshed MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac mini, iMac and Mac Pro could be released as early as next week.

Mac Pro, Apple's tower-style desktop was last refreshed in July 2010, and is almost certain to be upgraded. The iMac, too, has gone over an year without a significant upgrade and would be one of the prime candidates in line for a refresh, should new hardware be announced at WWDC. The current-generation Mac Mini, Apple's ultra-portable desktop, was released in July last year, which means it could benefit from Intel's latest processors as well.

The MacBook Pro is the "freshest" member of the Mac family. Eight months may seem like an eternity when it comes to computer hardware, but the duration is in line with the typical MacBook Pro upgrade cycle.

The MacBook Air refresh is, arguably, the most anticipated. Since the MacBook Air was refreshed last July, a plethora of wannabe Macbook Airs have flooded the market under the Ultrabook category, and anything that Apple does with the MacBook Air will be closely watched by other manufacturers worldwide.
