Dell Partners With Iris Computers for Distribution Services

End-to-end technology solutions provider Dell on Monday said it has partnered with Iris Computers for distribution of its enterprise and end-user products and solutions.

The tie-up is expected to further enhance Dell's newly launched distribution strategy, enabling it to reach Iris' over 3,500 partner base, a release said in Mumbai.

"This business strategy (of collaboration) means greater profitability and more business growth for our channel partners," Dell India executive director for marketing Ravi Bharadwaj said.

The Dell solutions which have been made available through the Iris partnership include Optiplex, Latitude and Precision, besides end-user computing offerings for businesses among others, the release said.

"We have collaborated with Dell to ensure that our products are easily and readily available to our partners and customers," Iris chief executive Vishal Sopory said.

While the partnership is meant for the northern and eastern markets of the country, it may be extended to pan-India later, he added.

"Dell's channel strategy is designed for fast and profitable growth for both the company as well as its partners. It seeks to empower partners with the best-in-class products, solutions and services," Dell India Director for sales and commercial channel Swarnendu Mukherjee said.

Dell has at present over 2,500 channel partners in the local market who will benefit from increased access to Dell's end-to end products and solutions, the company said.
