HP unveils 27-inch all-in-one workstation Z1, starting Rs. 1 lakh

HP today announced the launch of the HP Z1, a 27-inch all-in-one workstation along with 3 additions in its Z series namely the Z820, Z620 and Z420.

The HP Z1 comes with upto 32 GB RAM, Intel Xeon processors up to 3.5GHz, 2.0 megapixel front camera capable of shooting 1080p HD videos and front-facing dual-cone speakers. It supports both Windows 7 and Linux operating systems.

This workstation features a tool-less chassis which basically means that users can add or replace the internal parts and easily upgrade them by just opening up the chassis. Each component has its own thermal space which ensures that the machine stays cool at all times.

The 27-inch LED IPS display supports a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels and upto 1 billion colours. Users have the option to customise the Z1 using a range of storage options including 7.2K and 10K SATA drives, Solid State Drives and optical drives including a slot-load Blu-ray writer.

The high-end HP Z1 will be available at a starting price of Rs. 1,00,000.

The HP Z820, HP Z620 and the HP Z420 are the additions to the xisting Z series introduced about 2 years ago. These feature the latest Intel Xeon processors, NVIDIA Quadro graphics offer up to 512 GB RAM and 15 TB storage. They are targetted at professionals in various industries such as media and entertainment, architecture, animation, photography and video editing.

The HP Z820, HP Z620 and the HP Z420 will be available at a starting price of Rs.90,000, Rs.70,000 and Rs. 50,000 respectively.
