Samsung is expected to introduce the Galaxy S26 FE as the next member of its Galaxy S26 lineup on August 27. While the company has yet to officially reveal the phone's name, its recent event announcement and several leaks point towards the Fan Edition model. Details have already emerged about the phone's design, colour options, display, cameras, processor, battery, charging, durability and software support. Ahead of its expected launch, here is a look at everything we know about the Galaxy S26 FE so far.
Samsung will hold its next Galaxy event on August 27, where it is expected to unveil the Galaxy S26 FE. The virtual event will start at 9pm KST (5:30pm IST), and will be streamed on Samsung's website and YouTube channel.
Notably, the company has not confirmed the Galaxy S26 FE model yet. Instead, Samsung has called it the newest addition to the Galaxy S26 family and confirmed that it will run the latest version of One UI. Several leaks and Samsung references suggest that the upcoming device is the Galaxy S26 FE.
The South Korean tech giant has not confirmed the Galaxy S26 FE's price but a recent leak suggests that the phone could cost EUR 799 (roughly Rs. 88,000) in Europe.
The anticipated Galaxy S26 FE is expected to combine Samsung's Exynos 2500 chipset with a 6.7-inch display, a 4,900mAh battery and 45W wired charging.
The Galaxy S26 FE is expected to have a flat display with a centred hole-punch cutout and very slim bezels. The bottom bezel may be slightly thicker than the other three sides. The phone could feature a flat aluminium frame and a flat rear panel. The back is expected to house three vertically aligned cameras on a camera module, along with an LED flash.
The Fan Edition model is expected to come in Blueberry, Graphite and Pistachio colourways. Blueberry could feature a blue-purple finish with a matching frame, while Pistachio may have a light green finish. Graphite, meanwhile, is expected to offer a darker look.
The Galaxy S26 FE could have a 6.7-inch full HD+ (1,080x2,340 pixels) display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,900 nits of brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. The phone is expected to measure 161.6x76.9x7.4mm and carry an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
The Galaxy S26 FE could use Samsung's 3nm deca-core Exynos 2500 chipset. The phone will run the latest One UI 9 based on Android 17. Samsung is expected to offer seven Android OS upgrades, along with security updates.
The Galaxy S26 FE could have three rear cameras, including a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera. A 12-megapixel front camera could handle selfies and video calls, while AI camera features such as My FanCam may also be available.
The Galaxy S26 FE could have a 4,900mAh battery with 45W wired charging. It may also support Samsung's Super Fast Charging 2.0. An EPREL listing reportedly suggests up to 50 hours of use on a single charge, although actual battery life will vary with usage.
