Google might be working on the first update for Android 4.4 KitKat, supposedly dubbed Android 4.4.1, claims a report.

9to5google has revealed server logs that show the Android 4.4.1 update running on Nexus 4, Nexus 5, and Nexus 7 devices. However, the server logs show the dated Nexus 10 tablet still running Android 4.4 KitKat, suggesting that Google might be testing the update only on Nexus 4, Nexus 5 and Nexus 7.

In addition, an HTC ROM developer, LlabTooFeR, has claimed on Twitter that the HTC One Google Play Edition would soon be receiving the Android 4.4.1 update with build number KOT49E. LlabTooFeR's tweet reads, "HTC One GE will get 4.4.1 (KOT49E) in near future."

As of now, not much is known about the rumoured Android 4.4.1 update, but it could be a minor update with some bug fixes. The Nexus 5 had seen its fair share of user-reported bugs, and perhaps this update will fix those.
