Asus last month launched the ZenFone 2 series in Taiwan and the company has now introduced the handsets to the European market. Asus France in a tweetannounced the release of the Asus ZenFone 2 series.

The Asus ZenFone 2-series starts at as low as EUR 179 (approximately Rs. 12,000) for the ZenFone 2 ZE500CL, while the ZenFone 2 ZE550ML is priced at EUR 249 (approximately Rs. 16,700). The ZenFone 2 ZE551ML (with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage) will be available at EUR 349 (approximately Rs. 23,500); though the company as a promotional offer will sell it at EUR 299 (approximately Rs. 20,100) for a limited period. The Taiwanese company has announced that the new ZenFone-series will be available from the Asus Shop as well as Darty, Cdiscount, and Auchan online retail stores.

The Asus ZenFone 2 ZE551ML with 4GB of RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage is the most premium handset in the ZenFone 2 series; though there is no word on the variant's availability in France.

Recently, Asus India confirmed that the ZenFone 2 will launch in India by the last week of April, which was in-line with an earlier statement by Asus Taiwan that'd tipped an April launch.
