Microsoft on Tuesday announced that all eligible Windows Phone developers would be able to respond to user reviews on their apps directly from the Dev Center. Notably, the feature was first introduced in April for reviews made only via Windows Phone 8.1 devices, and in the US developers could see reviews from any Windows Phone device. The firm has also introduced the PayPal payment method for developers in five new markets.

"The feedback from all developers who have been able to respond to reviews has been very positive so far, with developers using this feature to help users resolve questions, inform them of a new version of the app, and increase user satisfaction with their apps," stated Bernardo Zamora on the official Windows blog post.

The developers can check for the update in the Dev Center that lets them respond to user review. They would have to select the dashboard for Windows Phone and tap on any one of their apps to go to the review screen. The review screen, after the update, would show the option to 'Respond' on the lower right corner.

Besides rolling-out the option for eligible developers to respond to user reviews directly from the Dev Center, Microsoft has enabled the PayPal developer payout method in 5 additional markets: Cyprus, Hungary, Liechtenstein, Malta, and Russia. The blog mentioned that after the inclusion of these five new markets, the PayPal payment service for developers in total have reached 41 markets. However, India remains one of the markets that is yet to receive the service.
