Gionee GPad G3 phablet with Android 4.2 available online for Rs. 9,699

Gionee has quietly released another device for the Indian market, the GPad G3. The phablet is now available for Rs. 9,699 at Snapdeal.

The Gionee GPad G3 is the latest member of the company's GPad line-up, which already includes GPad G1 and GPad G2. The phablet comes with 5.5-inch display with 480x854 pixels resolution and runs Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean). It is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor with PowerVR SGX544 GPU. The GPad G3 sports a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash alongside a VGA front-facing camera. It is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device with dual standby.

The GPad G3 includes 1GB of RAM and comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, expandable up to 32GB with microSD card. The Gionee GPad G3 includes 2250mAh battery and measures 157.3x79.3x9.6mm. Connectivity options on the phablet include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE, GPRS and 3G.

Earlier in October, the Chinese handset maker launched its flagship smartphone, the Elife E6 at Rs. 22,999 in India.

The Gionee Elife E6 features a unibody design and sports a 5-inch OGS (One-Glass-Solution) AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels and pixel density of 441ppi. The phone is thin at just 6.18mm, and weighs 128 grams. It is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, along with 2GB of RAM. The inbuilt storage offered by the phone is 32GB which is non-expandable. The Gionee Elife E6 sports a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with a second generation BSI sensor, along with an LED flash. It also has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with a 28mm lens. Both cameras support 1080p video recording. The smartphone runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with company's custom Amigo UI layer. The phone is powered by a 2020mAh battery.
