HTC Butterfly S with 5.0-inch full-HD display, UltraPixel camera now available online for Rs. 52,428

HTC Butterfly S has finally hit the Indian market sporting a price tag of Rs. 52,428. Currently, ecommerce website, Saholic is taking pre-orders for the yet to be launched smartphone. The online retailer notes that the delivery for the smartphone will start from September 11. However, there is no word on the official pricing and availability of the device from the company at the time of writing this post. The listing was first spotted by Telecomgyaan.

The HTC Butterfly S comes with a 5-inch Super LCD 3 display (1080x1920pixels) with a pixel density of 440ppi and the display also features Corning Gorilla Glass 3. On the hardware front, the device is powered by a 1.9GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor with 2GB RAM. It runs the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system with HTC Sense 5.0 UI on top. The HTC Butterfly S, much like the HTC One, comes with a 4.0-megapixel UltraPixel camera with the Zoe camera software feature. The rear camera supports full-HD video recording. It also sports a 2.1-megapixel front camera with an 88 degree wide-angle lens. The device supports single SIM and requires a micro-SIM. On the music front, the device boasts of the HTC BoomSound feature with dual front stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers and Beats Audio. Connectivity options include NFC support, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi. The company has included a 3,200mAh battery which the company claims, delivers 29 hours of talk time and 544 hours of standby time.

Earlier, the HTC Butterfly S was listed on the company's official website. HTC first unveiled the Butterfly S in Taiwan.
