Pre-orders for the Honor 6 Extreme Edition will start from October 21, and the smartphone is priced at CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 29,900). There is no information of about global availability of the smartphone. Notably, the Honor 6 went on sale in India last week.
As first reported by Ithome (via Gsmarena), the Honor 6 Extreme Edition packs Huawei's Kirin 928 SoC with LTE-A Cat.6 connectivity, instead of the 1.3GHz octa-core Kirin 920 SoC on the Honor 6. The octa-core Kirin 928 processor is clocked at 2GHz and is coupled with Mali T628MP4 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display remains the same on the Honor 6 Extreme Edition.

The rear camera on Honor 6 Extreme edition is 13-megapixel shooter with LED flash and there is a 5-megapixel front facing camera onboard as well. The smartphone comes with Android 4.4 KitKat and 32GB internal storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB).
The battery size has been marginally increased by Huawei to 3100mAh instead of 3000mAh on the Honor 6.
