Indian handset maker Lava has launched a new affordable touchscreen handset in the country called Lava C31. Priced at Rs. 2,499, Lava C31 is now available in the market.
The handset features a 2.6-inch QVGA touchscreen, 1.3MP camera and a 1000 mAh battery. It also comes with Bluetooth connectivity, 4GB of internal memory, which can further be expanded to 8GB. To appeal to the music lovers, this handset also comes with dual loud speakers.
Commenting on the launch, S.N Rai, Director of Lava International stated that, "The Indian market lagged a touch phone with good loud speaker quality. Usually the bar phone speaker is much better than a touch phone. C31 combines these benefits to bring a very good touch phone with a very good loud speaker performance with attractive price. An Interesting range of applications usually found in a smart phone are also pre-loaded in C31".
Lava C31 also comes pre-loaded with Facebook, LAVA Buddy, & Angry Birds apps along with an App Store.
