Lyf Wind 7i Launched in India: Price, Specifications, and More

Reliance Digital on Wednesday added another smartphone to its ever growing VoLTE-enabled Lyf lineup with the Lyf Wind 7i. The Lyf Wind 7i is a follow-up to the Lyf Wind 7, which was launched in August. The newly launched Lyf Wind 7i runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is priced at Rs. 4,999.

The dual-SIM Lyf Wind 7i comes features a few changes in specifications compared to the Lyf Wind 7. The new handset sports a 5-inch IPS display with HD (720x1280 pixels) resolution. Being a lower-specced device compared to the Lyf Wind 7, the Wind 7i is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 SoC coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage that's expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB).

Optics include an 8-megapixel rear module with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Some of the camera features on the Lyf Wind 7i include red-eye reduction, continuous auto-focus and smile detection, to name a few. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and Micro-USB 2.0. Sensors include ambient light sensor, accelerometer, and proximity sensor.

The Lyf Wind 7i measures 143.5x72x8.7mm in dimensions and weighs 156 grams. It packs a 2250mAh battery pack, which like the Wind 7 is expected to deliver up to 9 hours of talk time and up to 180 hours of standby time on 4G network. The device will be offered in Black and Blue colour options.
