OnePlus One, popularly known as the '2014 flagship killer' smartphone, created a buzz in the global market with its cheaper price tag than the current flagships, despite having some top-notch specifications.

With the phone still said to be grappling with supply issues, and only available to select buyers under the 'invite' system, popular and usually reliable phone tipster @evleaks had tipped that the company had already started working on OnePlus One smartphone's successor, thought to be dubbed OnePlus Two. @evleaks claimed that while the One was codenamed Bacon, the successor will be referred to as 'Lettuce'.

The news, if true, would've been damaging for the prospects of OnePlus One, as many would've preferred to wait for the successor, rather than buying one right now. Given this, the company has moved to deny the reports.

"We're just working on the OnePlus One for 2014," the company reportedly told Android Police.

In addition, Android Police also quoted Cyanogen's response on the alleged OnePlus Two leak. The company said, "We are currently focusing our efforts on continued support of the OnePlus One and Oppo N1. We're not sure where evleaks is getting this tip. There is no 'lettuce' device."

The OnePlus One, after a slight delay due to a last minute software update, started shipping to users with invites in mid-June. The OnePlus One was launched in April with the company announcing a Q2 release. The biggest new feature being touted on the One is that it runs CyanogenMod 11S, with the 'S' signifying the customisation for the One smartphone. Notably, CyanogenMod 11S is based on Android 4.4 KitKat.

OnePlus One features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with a 1080x1920 pixel resolution and offers a pixel density of 401ppi. The display boasts Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Other specifications include 3GB of RAM; quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 clocked at 2.5GHz; Adreno 330 GPU; 13-megapixel rear IMX214 sensor with six lenses and f/2.0 aperture; 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and 3100mAh non-removable battery.
