Oppo K13 Turbo Pro, K13 Turbo Launch Timeline, Colourways Leaked; Tipped to Get 1.5K Display, Dual Rear Cameras

Oppo is said to be working on new gaming-oriented smartphones with 'Turbo' branding. Their arrival is yet to be confirmed officially by the Chinese smartphone maker, but ahead of it, the launch timeline and some specifications of the alleged Oppo K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro have been leaked by a tipster. Both Turbo smartphones are expected to feature 6.8-inch displays. The vanilla Oppo K13 Turbo is said to run on a MediaTek chipset, while the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro is tipped to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset.

Oppo K13 Turbo Pro, K13 Turbo Specifications (Leaked)

Tiptster Digital Chat Station on Weibo shared the possible launch timeline, colourways and specifications of Oppo K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro. They are said to go official in China in July. The lineup is tipped to get 6.8-inch LTPS displays with 1.5K resolution.

The Oppo K13 Turbo is said to be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8450 SoC, while the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro could ship with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.

The purported Oppo K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro are tipped to feature a dual rear camera unit, comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. They are said to boast a 16-megapixel front camera. They could feature an active cooling fan for thermal management during intense gaming sessions. They are said to carry “relatively large” battery units, though the battery capacity is not detailed in the leak.

Further, the tipster claims that Oppo K13 Turbo will be launched in black, purple and white shades. The Oppo K13 Turbo Pro is said to be available in black, purple and silver colour options.

The Oppo K13 Turbo series has been making headlines for some time. Last month, a supposed hands-on image of the Oppo K13 Turbo surfaced online, revealing the rear design in a blue finish with RGB LED strips. The Oppo K13 Turbo Pro is rumoured to feature a plastic middle frame. Past leaks suggested a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 512GB storage and an IPX8-rated build for the phone.
