While Samsung hasn't yet announced the rumoured Galaxy A7, the smartphone now appears to have been listed for certification at Tenaa in China.

Listed as the Samsung SM-A7009, the smartphone is speculated to be the anticipated Galaxy A7 from Samsung's new 'Galaxy A' series. As would be expected, the alleged Samsung Galaxy A7 seems no different from the recently launched metal-clad Samsung Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 smartphones in terms of design.

Notably however, the Tenaa certification (via Phonearena) lists thickness of just 6.3mm for the SM-A7009, making what is anticipated to be the Galaxy A7 the slimmest smartphone ever made by Samsung.

Other than that, Samsung SM-A7009 at Tenaa is listed to include almost the same specifications as have been leaked through GFXBench and FCC, last month, except sport a 5.5-inch display instead of a 5.2-inch one.

The Tenaa listing reveals that SM-A7009 includes a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display; a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor; 2GB of RAM; 16GB of built-in storage, and Android 4.4.4 KitKat.

While there is no information on the launch of anticipated Samsung Galaxy A7, a Netherlands-based device retailer GSMWijzere (via GSMArena) claims that the other two devices - Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 - might be in stock by January, and could be priced at EUR 310 (approximately Rs. 23,700) and EUR 410 (approximately Rs. 31,300) respectively.

So far, Samsung has only revealed the pricing of Galaxy A5 in China at CNY 2,599 (approximately Rs. 26,000). While Samsung China website is guiding consumers to visit a nearby store for purchasing, a recent report citing an unknown Samsung official suggested that Samsung has again delayed the launch of Galaxy A5 to mid-December, due to production issues.
