Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 and Galaxy Mega 5.8 full specs leaked

A few days ago there were news reports suggesting that Samsung is planning to launch two new phablets under its "Galaxy Mega" Range.

The devices in question are Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 and Galaxy Mega 5.8. Now SamMobile has managed to get their hands on the alleged specifications of these phablets.

As per the leaked information, the Galaxy Mega 6.3 will sport a 6.3-inch PLS HD resolution display. The phablet will allegedly pack in an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. The website also claims that Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 will be powered by a dual-core processor that clocks at 1.7GHz alongside 1.5GB of RAM. Connectivity options should include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 80211 a/b/g/n and AGPS. The phablet will measure 88X167.6X7.9mm and come with 3,200 mAh battery on-board. Samsung Galaxy Mega is expected to run on Android 4.1.2 or 4.2.2 along with Samsung's own Nature UX interface.

SamMobile claims that Samsung will be launching Galaxy Mega 6.3 in two versions. The one with LTE carries the model number GT-I9205 LTE and the one without LTE has the model number GT-I9200 3G. The phablet is likely to come in two colours - Black and White. The Black version will reportedly be launched by mid-May while the White version will come in a bit later.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 is expected to sport a 5.8-inch screen with qHD display. As per SamMobile the phablet has a codename GT-I9152 and will pack in an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. The phablet will pack in dual-core processor that clocks speed of 1.4GHz processor along with 1.5GB of RAM. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 80211 a/b/g/n and AGPS.

Just like the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 this phablet too is likely to run on Android 4.1.2 or 4.2.2 Jelly Bean along with Nature UX. According to the website, the Galaxy Mega 5.8 will come with 2600mAh battery on-board. The device will measure 164X83.8X9.7mm. There is no word on when this smartphone will be available in the market.
