Five months after its launch, the Xiaomi Mi 5 has received its first official price cut in China. The Chinese electronics giant has cut the price down by CNY 200 (roughly Rs. 2,000), making the new retail price start from CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 18,100).

The 64GB variant was priced at CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 23,100), and the Mi 5 Pro was priced at CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs. 27,100).
