The OPPO F31 Series is built squarely with India in mind. From shopkeepers who rely on UPI payments and inventory apps, to gig workers who spend entire days juggling navigation, calls, and music, to young professionals splitting time between video calls, gaming, and entertainment, this lineup feels tuned for the country's hustle.

By combining efficient chipsets, advanced cooling, long-lasting 7,000mAh batteries, and OPPO's certified long-term fluency system, the F31 Series positions itself as a phone that doesn't just perform well on day one but promises to stay fast, cool, and reliable for years to come. With the F31 5G, F31 Pro 5G, and the F31 Pro+ 5G now all on sale, OPPO is clearly aiming to make durability and performance more accessible across price points.

Variants, Colours and Where to Buy

The F31 5G starts at Rs. 22,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and Rs. 24,999 for the 8GB + 256GB option, available in Midnight Blue, Cloud Green, and Bloom Red. The F31 Pro 5G is priced at Rs. 26,999 for 8GB + 128GB, Rs. 28,999 for 8GB + 256GB, and Rs. 30,999 for 12GB + 256GB, in Desert Gold and Space Grey. Power Under the Hood

Under the hood, the OPPO F31 Series doesn't just list out specs, it feels tailored to different kinds of users. The flagship F31 Pro+ 5G runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, and in our time with it, that translated into smooth gaming sessions on BGMI and reliable multitasking between video calls and heavy apps. The F31 Pro 5G, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy (co-developed with OPPO), proved to be the all-day workhorse. We noticed it stretched screen-on time longer than expected without slowing down, perfect for those who rely on constant navigation and payment apps during long shifts. The regular F31 5G, with its Dimensity 6300 Energy, kept everyday tasks, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp, and streaming, running efficiently, making it a strong pick for users who want reliable performance at a more accessible price.

On the software side, the series runs ColorOS 15, but it's what OPPO has layered underneath that makes it stand out. The Dual-Engine Smoothness System combines the Trinity Engine and the Luminous Rendering Engine to keep the performance smooth over the long run. In the real world, that meant apps installed quicker, switching between them felt instant and even after extended use, the phone didn't show the tiny stutters or freezes we're used to seeing on other devices.

Everyday Smoothness in Action

What struck us during our time with the phones is how well the series balances durability with performance tuned for everyday life. Whether we were juggling Maps, calls, and UPI payments on a road trip to Goa, or bingeing reels and gaming back-to-back during office breaks, the F31 Series stayed smooth and reliable under pressure, not just today, but built to feel that way years down the line.

OPPO calls this its 'six zeroes' promise: No lag, no latency, no flicker, no crash, no mislaunch and no freeze, and from what we saw, it wasn't just marketing talk.

Long-Term Fluency, Backed by Certification

One of the biggest frustrations with smartphones is how quickly they slow down after a year or two of use. OPPO has tackled this head-on with the F31 Series, which it says has passed 72-month fluency testing, simulating six years of everyday usage. That's a bold claim, but during our trial runs, the phones genuinely felt like they had plenty of juice, even when full of apps and notifications.

The practical takeaway? A phone that won't leave you stuck waiting when you're rushing. For a shopkeeper juggling billing software, WhatsApp Business, and UPI scans all day, or a delivery partner relying on Maps while streaming music and taking calls, the F31 5G doesn't choke under pressure.

And when things do start feeling cluttered, OPPO has included a one-click magical tool. With a tap, the phone clears out unnecessary background processes, rebalances memory, and refreshes performance. We tried it after deliberately running dozens of apps in the background, and the phone snapped back to feeling almost out-of-the-box in seconds, without needing a full reset.

For anyone who's used to a phone becoming sluggish within a couple of years, this kind of long-term assurance is great.

Staying Cool Under Pressure

Performance only matters if it holds up when the phone is under stress, and that's where the OPPO F31 Series really impressed us. Each model comes equipped with its own vapour chamber cooling system, all designed to spread heat away from the processor and GPU. This meant gaming sessions, long video calls, and even navigation stayed smooth without the phone getting uncomfortably hot.

During our use, the F31 Pro+ 5G in particular held performance steady even in peak summer conditions, with OPPO rating it to stay stable up to 43°C . The Pro and base models didn't fall far behind either, both handled everyday workloads and long streaming without getting too hot, making them feel just as reliable in hand.

Connectivity plays a big role here, too. OPPO has added its Hunter Antenna Architecture, which promises up to a 300% network boost. It's been Jio tested and TUV Rheinland certified, and in our experience, that meant fewer drops in crowded areas and smoother video calls in low-signal spots, a big deal for professionals constantly on the move.

Together, these thermal and network upgrades make the F31 Series feel built for India's conditions, whether that's navigating in the Delhi heat, gaming in the Mumbai humidity, or taking video calls on the go in a weak-signal area.

Power That Keeps Up

Battery anxiety is real, but with the OPPO F31 Series it almost felt like we could forget about it. Each phone packs a massive 7,000mAh battery, engineered with OPPO's bio-inspired self-repairing electrolyte technology. That means even after 1,830 full charge cycles, roughly five years of daily use, the battery is designed to retain close to 80% capacity.

In our usage, this translated into going through a long day of navigation, calls, and social media without reaching for the charger. And when we did need a top-up, the 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge got us from 0 to 58% in just around 30 minutes.

There's also Bypass Charging, which kicks in during heavy gaming or long charging sessions. Instead of taking all power through the battery, it sends current directly to the system. The result? Less heat, better long-term battery health, and more consistent performance, something gamers and binge-watchers will appreciate.

Together, these charging features make the F31 Series feel like a dependable daily driver, whether you're a professional on back-to-back shifts, a student streaming lectures and reels late into the night, or a travel influencer hopping between calls and flights.

A Lineup Built to Last

With the F31 Series, OPPO is making things clear for Indian users who need a phone that won't give up after a year or two. This lineup feels made for the long haul, featuring efficient chipsets, advanced cooling, massive batteries with bypass charging, and that rare 72-month fluency certification.

The entire F31 lineup is now on sale, this is the time to pick the one that suits you best.
