Oppo A16e mobile was launched in March 2022. The phone comes with a 60 Hz refresh rate 6.52-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 720x1600 pixels (HD+) at a pixel density of 269 pixels per inch (ppi) and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The display sports Gorilla Glass for protection. Oppo A16e is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) processor. It comes with 3GB, 4GB of RAM. The Oppo A16e runs Android 11 and is powered by a 4230mAh battery.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Oppo A16e on the rear packs a 13-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.

The Oppo A16e runs ColorOS 11.1 is based on Android 11 and packs 32GB, 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 1000GB). It was launched in Blue, Midnight Black, and Silver colours.
