Oppo recently launched three smartphones as a part of the Oppo Reno 2 series, the Oppo Reno 2Z, Reno 2, and the Reno 2F. What's surprising is that these new models have been launched only a few months after the original Reno series. Interestingly, Oppo has only revealed the prices of the Oppo Reno 2 and the Reno 2Z so far, while the India price of the Reno 2F will be revealed later.

Oppo Reno 2Z Summary

The Oppo Reno 2Z is one of the smartphones the company launched as the part of the Reno 2 series. This smartphone has a quad-camera setup at the back and is among the few in the market to sport the MediaTek Helio P90 SoC.

Oppo has opted for a 6.5-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display on the Reno 2 which houses an in-display fingerprint scanner. We found the display to be legible outdoors and the in-display fingerprint scanner is quick to unlock the smartphone. There is no notch on the display and the phone has a pop-up module for the selfie camera.

The phone runs ColorOS on top of Android 9 Pie and has some useful features added to it. There is some amount of bloatware preinstalled on the device and it is best to uninstall them since they are a source for spammy notifications.

We found the MediaTek Helio P90 SoC to be a decent performer but it does not offer the same value for money as some of the other processors available at this price point. Oppo offers the Reno 2Z in one variant only with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The quad-camera setup at the back helps the Reno 2Z deliver good photos during the day but the performance takes a dip in low-light. It has a night mode as well which helps improve low-light images. The selfie shooter clicks good photos which can go on to social media directly.

Oppo has packed in a 4,000mAh battery that is capable of delivering about a day and a half of battery life. The company also supplies a 20W charger in the box to top the battery up.

Renno 2Z is a great phone for those who are looking for a flagship phone but has a minimum budget.The 6.5 inc amoled display is great .The phones has a great camera setup.The processor Helio P30 in great for gaming and multi tasking. The battery performance is good as it has a 4000 mAh battery. In short the phone is great for those who has a budget around 25k.

Lots of people like this phone. Fine its a personal choice but you can compare with Samsung note 10. I personally using note10 and last week i bought oppo reno 2z. Display is ok it has 8 gig ram and 256gb rom. The issue is touch sensitivity.its not at all ok I needed to struggle sometime with the touch. Phone was hung once and i need to restart forcefully. I guess the processor have some issue with the lcd display. Hope oppo will fix it. The good side is this phone look beautiful when u holding with ur palm.. camera is ok. Personally i don't like the front camera its not at all natural but lots of people like it. Its make ur face 😂😭 fair.. you may not need beauty cream if u have this phone.. Overall not a bad phone.
