JBL Xtreme 2 Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker Launched in India at Rs. 21,999

JBL Xtreme 2 is up for pre-order and will be shipped from August 24

Expanding its portfolio, Harman has now launched the JBL Xtreme 2 waterproof Bluetooth speaker in India. The portable speaker has been launched in multiple colour options, and has an IPX7 rating. The company claims that the JBL Xtreme 2 offers 15 hours of playtime, and is priced at Rs. 21,999 in the country. The JBL Xtreme 2 is available for pre-order on the official website, other online and retail channels, including 350 Samsung brand stores across the country. If you pre-order from the JBL site, you can buy the JBL Xtreme 2 at a discounted rate of Rs. 19,999, and shipping is expected to begin from August 24.

The JBL Xtreme 2, as mentioned, supports Bluetooth v4.2, allowing up to two smartphones or tablets to connect wirelessly to the speaker. It has a built-in 10,000mAh Lithium-ion Polymer battery that can support up to 15 hours of playtime (varies by volume level and audio content), and charges via a USB port. It is IPX7 rated to protect the speaker from spills, and submersion in water even. The JBL Xtreme 2 comes with four drivers (two woofers and two tweeters), and two JBL Bass Radiators, and also integrates noise and echo cancelling speakerphone for clear calls in noisy environments when paired with a smartphone. It supports JBL Connect+ to wirelessly link more than 100 JBL Connect+ enabled speakers. The cylindrical-shaped speaker comes with integrated hooks, a durable metal base, and an added bottle opener. The dimensions of the JBL Xtreme 2 are at 136x288x132mm, and it weighs 2,393 grams.

The Bluetooth speaker has been made available in Midnight Black, Forest Green and Ocean Blue colour options. The new JBL Xtreme 2, with its greater, more powerful sound, is the perfect choice for anyone looking for an all-weather companion - whether it be for indoor or outdoor use," said Sumit Chauhan, Vice President - Lifestyle Audio, Harman India, in a statement.
