The Poco M3 is the latest smartphone from Poco to hit the Indian market. The company has positioned it in the sub-Rs.15,000 price segment to compete with the likes of the Redmi 9 Power and the Moto G9 Power. It is the successor to the Poco M2, and has some improvements in the form of a bigger battery, more RAM, and upgraded cameras. Will this be enough to make it better than the competition? Poco M3 Summary
The Poco M3 is a budget smartphone and is priced under Rs.15,000. It has a 6.53 inch full-HD+ display with a dewdrop notch at the top. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and an IR emitter to control appliances. This smartphone has a triple camera setup at the back. It is quite well designed and looks far more premium than it is actually priced. The rear panel has a textured finish which helps keep fingerprints away.
The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor and gets 6GB of RAM. There are two storage variants available, 64GB and 128GB. Storage is expandable via dedicated microSD card slot and it accepts cards up to 512 GB. It packs in a 6000 mA battery which is good for the price. It has support for 18W charging and gets a 22.5W charger in the box.
The Poco M3 is capable of handling day to day tasks and the battery managed to last for a day and a half. The big battery does help with battery life, but it takes over two hours to charge it completely. With 6GB of RAM onboard it is capable of multitasking very easily. You can play most games but with heavier games, it tends to get warm to the touch. You get a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor on the Poco M3. The camera performance was average overall with the phone managing decent photos in daylight but lowlight performance wasn’t impressive. The Poco M3 does click better photos with Night mode enabled, but it takes about four seconds to take a shot.

Poco M3, weak motherboard handsetPankaj K (Dec 1, 2022) on Gadgets 360After useinf some time, phone will start rebooting automatically. MIUI will start sending updates with glitch if installed phone will compeltely dead. As Phone has weak Motherboard as a result this is happening. If you ever install their Updates sent fro MIUI, your phone will dead. This is a common issue faced by poco M3 user, but company has not taken any step to control or minimise the issue. So I would suggest whoever is using try to reboot once if it takes longer than enough kindly report and get you mB replaced. If I is out of warranty theywll not help u, rather deman money. Please do not buy this toy ifanyone is planning. Out of 100 user 90 users are facing same issue.Is this review helpful?

Absolute rubbish!Deepak Manoharan (Feb 20, 2021) on FlipkartI bought this phone because of better specifications compared to any other mobile at this cost... But it really disappointed me because of sudden reboot/restarting of poco M3 even though I have used 5% storage. I have updated the software in settings and even though updated all the pre installed apps and still faced this issue.. Very worst experience faced because of Xiaomi poco M3 I sent a return request, kindly pickup and refund the amount to my bank accountIs this review helpful?

If you ever install their Updates sent fro MIUI, your phone will dead.
