USB Backup ?

I purchased the set on the day of launching.But disappointed when I found the pre installed USB Backup App is not working.I sent around 38000 at that time.I am frustrated .How ever other features are good.Samsung update C7 with USB Backup to make it active.If not then why it is preinstalled ?
