Earlier reports on the web indicated of a possible redesign for LinkedIn, the social network for professionals. The revamped site has gone live offering users a more cleaner and simpler interface. The roll out appears to be gradual and will be hitting more accounts over the next few weeks.

The new homepage layout includes more social features resembling the likes of Google+ and Facebook. The company however mentions in their blog that the aim is to offer users with more relevant news and information based on their industry and connections.
