ASUSTeK Computer Inc., known as ASUS, is a Taiwanese multinational computer hardware and electronics company was founded in 1989 in Taiwan. ASUS is one of the world's largest computer hardware companies. Its products include desktops, PC peripherals, laptops, smartphones, tablets and hybrid devices. The company has made Android phones powered by Intel and Qualcomm SoCs.

Asus's latest mobile launch is the ZenPad 8.0 (Z380KL). The tablet was launched in June 2015. The tablet comes with a 8.00-inch display with a resolution of 1280 pixels by 800 pixels at a PPI of 189 pixels per inch.

The Asus ZenPad 8.0 (Z380KL) is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8929) processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM. The tablet packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Asus ZenPad 8.0 (Z380KL) packs a 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 2-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Asus ZenPad 8.0 (Z380KL) runs Android 5.0 and is powered by a 4000mAh non removable battery. It measures 209.00 x 123.00 x 8.50 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 350.00 grams.

The Asus ZenPad 8.0 (Z380KL) is a single SIM (GSM) tablet that accepts a Micro-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensor.
