Hands-on with Datawind Ubislate 7+
As promised, Datawind recently announced the upgraded versions of their Ubislate 7 tablet in the country. Dubbed as UbiSlate 7+ and 7C, these will be available for Rs. 2,999 and Rs. 3,999 in the country.

These tablets come with several improvements over the predecessor like an 800MHz processor, Android 2.3 and a bigger battery.

We spent some time with UbiSlate 7+, and found the tablet sluggish and non-responding at many occasions. While the pre-installed apps worked fine, the tablet hung many times while trying to change settings or opening resource heavy apps. Although the pricing is unbeatable, we still found it a little disappointing for basic computing experience.

Here are some pictures of the tablet to give you a closer look, while we work on the detailed review.
