iPad 3 announcement on March 7th?

Apple is set to unveil the iPad 3 in a special event to be held on March 7th, according to reports emerging from Apple blog iMore and other sources. The first week of March date is in line with earlier reports of an early March release.

iMore also confirms the presence of a quad-core A6 processor and a 2048x1536 Retina display. Independent reports in the Wall Street Journal also confirmed that the iPad 3 will feature 4G LTE networking.
