Micromax is ready to roll out yet another budget tablet, the Funbook P255, with company's latest offering already listed on online retailers for Rs. 4,499.

According to the listings, the Micromax Funbook P255 comes with 7-inch capacitive display with a resolution of 800x480 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Cortex-A8 processor with Mali-400 GPU. It sports a 2-megapixel rear camera while there is a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera.

Micromax Funbook P255 comes with 512MB of RAM and includes 1.15GB of available storage that can be expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The Funbook P255 runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The tablet includes a 2600mAh battery that is rated at up to 150 hours of standby time and up to 4 hours of Internet browsing time. Connectivity options on the tablet include Wi-Fi, Micro-USB and 3G via dongle.

The tablet is up for pre-orders on Snapdeal for Rs. 4,499 while the device is also available on Infibeam and Flipkart.

Micromax has been launching a number of budget and mid-range devices in the last few days. Earlier this week, Micromax Canvas Fun A63was seen online for Rs. 6,799. The Canvas Fun A63 comes with a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) display, and is powered by a single-core 1.3GHz MediaTek 6572 processor paired with 512MB of RAM. It also includes 1GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB.

The Canvas Fun A63 sports a 2-megapixel rear camera with flash. It runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE, GPRS, GPS and 3G. It includes a 1500mAh battery that can give up to 4.5 hours of talk time and 135 hours of standby time, as per the company. It is a dual-SIM device with support for GSM+GSM.
