LG is busy promoting its long awaited flagship smartphone, the LG G2 globally as the company unveiled the device earlier this week. However, it appears that LG is now working on a new tablet.

An LG branded tablet has been spotted in Bluetooth SIG (special interest group) certification filing, according to a new report. Technology blog, Techkiddy claims that an LG device with model number LG-V500/LG-V507L has appeared on the Bluetooth special interest group's website. The two different model numbers listed on the Bluetooth listing hints at two variants of the tablet, a Wi-Fi variant and a 3G or LTE enabled variant.

The LG-V series model hints at the LG G Pad (tablet). The site further suggests that in the past, LG had unveiled the Optimus Pad (LG-V900) with a model number related to the series.

The device description of the Bluetooth certification filing shows the rumoured tablet to be an 'LG Mobile device' whereas, when an LG mobile phone clears the Bluetooth certification, the phone description is usually mentioned as the LG 3G Mobile Phone or LG GSM Mobile Phone or LG LTE Mobile Phone.

Unwired.com has listed some specifications of the rumoured LG tablet that include a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor or a Snapdragon 600 processor. The yet to be announced tablet from LG may be dubbed as the G Pad, or G Tab without the Optimus tag. The company got rid of the Optimus branding for its flagship smartphone, the LG G2, earlier.

Currently, everything is pure speculation, but we believe that if the South Korean might showcase the device during the IFA 2013 in Berlin.
