Asus has launched its next-generation smartwatch at the Computex 2015 in Taipei, the ZenWatch 2. The second-generation smartwatch from Asus has been introduced within a year of the first-generation ZenWatch, which launched at IFA last year.

The Asus ZenWatch 2 is the first Android Wear-based smartwatch that comes in two sizes with different model names ZenWatch 2 (WI501Q), and ZenWatch 2 (WI502Q). These feature interchangeable 22mm strap (with a 49mm stainless steel case) and an 18mm strap (with 45mm stainless steel case) respectively, while featuring watch face dimensions of 49x41mm, and 45x37mm respectively. The global Asus website teases that the new smartwatch has been crafted with a "stylish and detail-focused design." The company claims that the ZenWatch 2 has been built upon the original ZenWatch though comes with new functionality. The company has added a metal watch crown, which Asus touts is a new way to interact with the watch. The display glass is made of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection against scratches and damage.
