Garmin on Tuesday unveiled the Vivoactive 3 smartwatch in India. Priced at Rs. 24,990, the new Garmin Vivoactive 3 will be available in select stores of Croma, Helios, and Reliance Digital as well as Flipkart and Amazon. It will be made available in Black and White colours. The Garmin Vivoactive 3 is the company's first wearable with Garmin Pay, which brings features like tap and pay.

Apart from contactless payments, the new smartwatch offers over 15 preloaded sports apps and also packs built-in GPS.

The Garmin Vivoactive 3 sports the company's in-house Garmin Chroma Display with LED backlighting. It features a 1.2-inch screen with 240x240 pixels screen resolution. The Garmin Vivoactive 3 wearable comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top of the display and the bezels are made of stainless steel. The case material is made of fibre-reinforced polymer. The company claims that the Vivoactive 3 can offer up to 11 hours of battery life with GPS mode enabled and up to seven days on smartwatch mode.

Announcing the new Garmin wearable, Ali Rizvi, National Sales Manager Garmin India said, "The launch of Vivoactive 3 is a short in the arm for (a variety) of fitness activity users. This is a single device accessible to do away with all your worries and to help you indulge in fitness like never before. We are looking at a whole community of Vivoactive 3 users since it perfectly fits the requirement of a cardio-fitness trainer to people doing strength training inside the gym."
