Xiaomi India on Monday announced that Tuesday will see an open sale of the Mi Band and 16000mAh Mi Power Bank on its site. The company however did notreveal how many units of either device will be made available to purchase.

Both the Xiaomi Mi Band and the 16000mAh Mi Power Bank will go on sale without registrations at 2pm IST on Mi.com, and the company also announced that Mi Band straps in all colours will also be sold during the same period.

The Xiaomi Mi Band was launched back in late-April this year, alongside the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 4i at the company's Global Mi Phone Premiere launch event in New Delhi. Priced at Rs. 999, the Mi 4i is aimed at undercutting most of the competing fitness trackers in the market. The Mi Band straps are priced at Rs. 199 each.

Interestingly though, Micromax subsidiary Yu Televentures soon after in May also launched its own fitness tracking band in India at the same price, the YuFit, with a few added features such as an LCD display.

Coming to the new 16000mAh Mi Power Bank, Xiaomi India had introduced the mobile accessory back in November in China, but only announced the India launch back in late May alongside the new 5000mAh Mi Power Bank. At the time, Xiaomi had asked its fans to vote for which power bank should be launched first in the country on June 9 - the 16000mAh Mi Power Bank won out. It is priced at Rs. 1,399.
