  Xolo Q800 is a beast itself, With full HD recording/playback seamless capablities and the GPU clocked at the original frequency (286Mhz) again. No compromises on this phone! Using a Q800 from 6 months. Beautiful and awesome experience! No lag, butter smooth performance, no memory issues, everything full HD ;) , all apps work without problem and multitasking is a breeze with Mediatek MT6589 1.2Ghz Quad Core Cortex A7 chipset and 1 GB LPDDR2 RAM! This is a gaming phone. It has Imagination Technologies PowerVR SGX544MP GPU @ 286Mhz. Runs all modern games butter smooth at around 30-40fps. (Moder Combat 4, Asphalt 8, Vice City) :) Rear Camera is good enough @8MP + Front camera is awesome for Video call @1MP The camera rocks in decent light, but takes a little grainy photos in low light. But, it has got a very powerful flash and that's more than enough in this budget! Battery is enormous and lasts all day (2100mAh). Filled with sensors: Gyroscope, 3 axis Accelerometer, Light sensor, Proximity Sensor, 3 axis Magnetic Sensor. Display is awesome (960 x 540 @ 245ppi), 4.5 inch LED backlit LCD TFT Display. Just make viewing things awesome on screen, whether you are viewing an app, photo, video or playing games etc. Voice clarity and calling is very clear and loud. (You can tweak the volume in Engineer mode). Google it. Also, this phone looks very classy, just 9.6mm deep and perfect size for a smartphone. From me, it's a big GO AHEAD! Coolest phone in it's segment. Note: I find this phone more comfortable that MMX Canvas HD. But again, XOLO has less service centers.   Xolo Q800 X-Edition is really a cool smartphone. It sports 4.5 inch IPS LCD display with qHD 540�960 pixels resolution, 8 MP BSI sensor CMOS camera, 1 MP front camera, 720p video recording and playback, 1 GB RAM, 4 GB ROM, micro SD card slot, 2100 mAh battery, Yamaha Audio Amplifier and of course MediaTek MT6589 quad core SoC. There is huge confusion related to the SoC used in Xolo Q800 X-Edition.The first batch of the device was launched with MediaTek MT6589 with 1.2 GHz quad core Cortex A7 CPU and PowerVR SGX544MP GPU clocked at ~286 MHz. You can easily play games like Temple Run 2, Subway surfer, Asphalt 7, Asphalt 8 airborne, Dead trigger , Dead Space, Into the Dead, Rail Rush, Cut the Ropes 2, Vice City and thousands of other games. • Good phone in below 10k budget

  I am using it for past 1 month. Pros : Display+ Camera+Performance. Since I havent yet install very heavy games like Asphalt, Dota etc...I cant say how smooth they will run. But I have installed a 3d Game name Race Illegal which is running very smoothly. Battery will give you all days backup if you dont play 2+ hrs of games. Cons: Bit of heating issue if you charge the phone in switch on mode. Sound is not that great. Still havent heard about any KitKat update. Recommendation : 100%

• XOLO-Q-800 X edition - My BAD experience

  I had purchased Xolo Q-800 X edition in November 2013, through Flipkart.com. It has started giving Heavy problem since over a month now. I am experiencing regular freezing of the screen (no- touch response), and irregular shut downs - even when it is not being used. Most of the times I need to remove the battery and put it back. Still the starting probability is un-certain. I am very disappointed with this. It happens about 20-25 times in a day. Gave it for servicing in Mangalore Service (Karnataka). They said to have rectified the problem and returned. I am still experiencing the same problem again. While contacting the service center they said i need to get the hand set to them for a repeated servicing. It is still under warranty. I expect you to replace me with the new handset. Any way I will post this same write up in Flipkart customer review; GSMarena, NDTV Gadgets, jury and other major related web links for the customers.
