The Apple Music app for Android has received an update, fixing several bugs. The biggest fixes by Apple include a playback issue, and a specific sorting issue in playlists. The Android version has been bumped up to v0.9.11, and can be downloaded via Google Play.

Apple confirms that the new 'update resolves a playback issue where songs skip over the first two seconds of music. It also fixes an issue where albums added to a playlist appear in an unexpected order.' Apple Music is one of two apps that the Cupertino giant offers on the Android platform, the other being - Move to iOS.

Apple Music is available on a three months free trial basis, after which the company will charge a subscription fee. The subscription charges in India are at Rs. 120 per month for all access to the apps' music database and services, and Rs. 190 per month for the Family Plan. The Family Plan allows access for up to 6 members from a single subscription on different devices.

In May, Apple also introduced a new Student Plan in Australia and New Zealand, where it offered an individual membership at $4.99 per month compared to the existing Individual membership that's $9.99 per month. Apple Music's Family membership is priced at $14.99 per month in western markets. The Student Plan will also roll out in Denmark, Germany, Ireland, the UK, and the US soon.
