Google has been lately rolling out updates to improve its Drive experience for users. The search giant has this time rolled out an update to its Slides and Keep apps for better sharing and accessibility.

As a part of the latest update, Google Slides would now give users the option to choose video call feature via Hangouts messaging service, and share the presentation with others around the world via video call. Also noted is that during the presentation users can also view their speaker notes, and keep a check on the time using the app's built-in timer.

To access the feature, the users would need to tap on the present button on an Android smartphone or tablet and simply select the video call option. After selecting the option, users would also see a list of users who are on the call.

Google also updated its Keep note-taking app, which now would let users export their notes to Google Docs. While the feature is nothing ground breaking, it might prove to be of some help to heavy Keep users. The app updates have not yet reached India.

The search giant last month made its Cloud Storage Nearline available to general public. The service was until now under the 'Beta' mode. In order to encourage more user involvement, Google is offering storage of 100PB of space for free.

Released as a beta in March, Cloud Storage Nearline is aimed at data-heavy businesses that need fast retrieval of data. The service competes with Dropbox, Amazon's Glacier, Box, and OneDrive among others. Unlike its competitors that take hours for handling such voluminous data, Google says that Nearline could do it in seconds and minutes.
