Google, with the rollout of iOS 9, has updated its Google Wallet app for Apple's mobile platform. The app v10.16.10 now sports a completely new design and focuses on peer-to-peer payments.

The redesigned interface of Google Wallet app for iOS gives users easy access to view their Wallet balance and their purchase history. The interface also makes it easy to send money to others. The app listing says the update has removed the support for loyalty cards, gift cards and offers. Available to download from the App Store, the update Google Wallet app weighs 33.4MB and requires iOS 7 or later versions to run.

The app also makes it easier to spend money. Cashing out money left in the Wallet account using the debit card or linked bank account is also possible. Furthermore, iOS users can now request a Wallet Card using the Wallet app.

Google, earlier this month launched a new version of its Google Wallet app for Android, called Google Wallet (New). The old app was renamed to Android Pay when the revamped service launched earlier this month.
