To stay ahead of other cloud storage services like Google Drive and Dropbox, Microsoft has once again made an aggressive move by removing OneDrive storage limits for Office 365 subscribers.

Starting Monday, Microsoft has begun rolling out unlimited OneDrive storage to Office 365 Home, Personal, and University subscribers. The Redmond giant says the roll-out would continue over the coming months, and if users want to jump the line, they can register here for earlier access. Users will be able to access and upload content to OneDrive via desktop PC or mobile devices.

The Microsoft blog post announcing the new unlimited OneDrive storage for Office 365 subscribers added that OneDrive for Business users will get unlimited storage as part of the Office 365 roadmap sometime in 2015, with First Release customers first in line.

Notably, the unlimited OneDrive storage for Office 365 users comes after Microsoft bumped up the storage limit from 20GB to 1TB in June.

Microsoft earlier this month updated the OneDrive app for iOS with new security features like support for Apple's Touch ID and PIN code lock, along with design tweaks for big screen iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The Redmond giant also announced two new ways to share files with Outlook Web App (OWA) and OneDrive for Business.

Also, last month, Microsoft rolled out an update for its regular OneDrive users by offering an additional 15GB free over the existing 15GB of free cloud storage. While Apple users can avail the free 15GB of storage space by signing/registering in the OneDrive for iOS and activating the auto-upload feature for the camera roll, the existing Android, iOS, Windows Phone and Windows users with the activated auto-upload feature will automatically see the 30GB bumped-up storage space.
