Motorola's Droid Zap, a photo sharing application, which was previously exclusive to Motorola's Droid devices, is now available for all the Android users via the Google Play store.

Droid Zap by Motorola previously allowed non-Droid users see what photos Droid Zap users within a 1,000-foot radius were sharing, but prevented them from sharing anything. However, the app is available for all Android users, even non-Droid users will be able share photos.

Notably, Motorola on Friday updated the app to v2.1, adding Zap Zone, a time-based photo sharing feature. For now, this feature is only available for users with Droid handsets running Android Jelly Bean OS and higher.

"For DROID owner on 'Jellybean' OS or higher, we've also added Zap Zone, which allows multiple people to magically share pictures at your next party. Simply Zap the invite to your friends and your smartphones are magically connected. Any pictures you take or your friends take will automatically be shared for the duration of the Zap Zone," states the app page.
