Pokemon Go has become a rapidly spreading epidemic of sorts, and users all across the globe are trotting new paths to find new Pokemon. Niantic CEO and founder John Hanke has now revealed some more details about this hugely successful game, shedding some light on what is coming in the future. Pokemon Go is set to get several new features including new Pokemon, ability to trade Pokemon with users across regions, and also customisable PokeStops.

During an interaction at the San Diego Comic-Con in Hall H, Hanke revealed that the company looks to introduce more Pokemon beyond the first-generation bunch. However, he did not reveal which Pokemon will be introduced specifically, and also vaguely gave a time-frame of them launching in the 'coming months or years' (via Nerdist).

Hanke also confirmed that customisation of PokeStops is an idea that the makers are definitely discussing. Abilities like adding more functionalities to the PokeStop, changing the name, photo, or skin colour may be introduced.

Pokemon Go could also get an interesting trading and training feature, which essentially would allow users to swap Pokemon with other users from anywhere in the world. For example, a Pokemon exclusive to Hong Kong can be traded with a user there, in exchange for an exclusive Pokemon in your country.

Hanke also revealed the three new team leaders of Team Mystic, Valor, and Instinct. Team Mystic and Valor are led by female characters named Blanche and Candela, and Instinct has a male lead named Spark.

Hanke also said that the creators have dropped a few Easter eggs within the game that no user has been able to find yet. One of the most notable one includes the evolving of Eevee, into a Flareon, Jolteon, or Vaporeon. However, no user has been able to find this Easter egg, or any other one yet.

He also said that many Pokemon are susceptible to be found in the habitats they are most comfortable in. For example, the water-type Pokemon Krabby is most likely to be found in bay areas. The 6,000-capacity Hall H was fully packed to hear what Hanke had to say, but mostly because they expected a rare Pokemon to drop at the venue. However, a sigh of disappointment reverberated through the Hall H walls, Nerdist reported, when Hanke confirmed that the team had no plans to do that.

Niantic released the game on Monday for Hong Kong users, while France got it on Sunday. Pokemon Go has been releasing in many countries, but it hasn't made its official way to India yet. Hanke did say that they are having field day trying to manage the servers, and the work on these new features (and the launch in other population heavy countries presumably) will only begin once the server issues are sorted.

In India, many users have downloaded and sideloaded the game via apk files, and have been enjoying it until recently. Users in many parts of India are reporting that Pokemon locations, Gyms, and PokeStops are missing from the game. There is no known launch time-frame for the game in India.
