"Supporting dual-SIM devices is not a matter of choice for us, it's a central part of the phone experience for our users," said Nami Zarringhalam, co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Truecaller. "With every new release, we are taking one step closer to making Truedialer a complete replacement of your default dialer and we look forward to expanding our relationships with OEMs and operators to meet the growing demands of our users globally."
Truedialer is third-party smartphone dialler app that can replace stock Android dialler. The app can also access phonebook numbers and provides relevant information about a contact with Truecaller integration.
With version 2.0, Truedialer Android app supports over 500 dual-SIM devices. Unfortunately, we don't know which make and models the company is referring to, and whether the app will show compatibility while installing.
Other than that, the Truedialer interface has been improved. The new swipe right design allows users to add names to favourite contacts lists. The app also shows SIM number (SIM 1/ SIM 2) in call log, allows one-click calls from dial pad, and puts ID for unknown numbers in call history.
Lastly, the company has integrated more Truecaller features within Truedialer app. This not just enables manual name or number search, it also provides instant information and relevant information about call contact even if it's not saved already.
