About Kindred TV Series

Dana James (Mallori Johnson), a young black woman and an aspiring writer, has just uprooted her life of familial obligation and relocated to Los Angeles. Soon, she finds herself being tossed between the modern day and 1815 Maryland during the Antebellum period of the South. The series is a televised adaptation of Octavia E. Butler's 1979 novel of the same name.
