About Rukh Movie (2017)

Rukh is a 2017 Bollywood mystery-drama movie that revolves around the life of a young boy whose father dies in a car accident.

Rukh is the story of Dhruv Mathur (Adarsh Gourav) who gets expelled from his school for hitting a fellow student after which his parents send him to a boarding school. His world turns upside-down when his father Diwakar Mathur (Manoj Bajpayee) dies in a car accident.

Despite his mother Nandini (Smita Tambe) tries to shield and stop him, Dhruv becomes adamant on finding out the truth. He was already unaware of the family financial crisis, so eventually, he begins to find the hidden truths that might take him to the actual murderer. Dhruv starts looking for answers and believes that his father's business partner, Robin (Kumud Mishra), must have had murdered his father. During this hunt, Dhruv unravels different shades of his father?s personality and the different kinds of businesses he ran and the actual reality turns out to be something else.
