Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 mechanical keyboard

After its CES 2018 gaming announcements, Corsair has now launched two gaming keyboards. The Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 and Corsair Strafe RGB MK.2 range of mechanical gaming keyboards are available worldwide through authorised retailers and distributors, as well as direct from the Corsair.com Web store. Both the keyboards integrate Cherry MX mechanical key switches in different types including Cherry MX Red, MX Brown, MX Blue, Rapidfire MX Speed, or MX Silent key switches. The keyboards come with per-key RGB backlighting, 8MB of onboard profile storage and dedicated media keys.

Both the Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 and Corsair Strafe RGB MK.2 range are powered by the iCUE software, connecting all iCUE compatible products together in a single interface, giving users control of everything from RGB lighting and macros to system monitoring and cooling control.

The Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 for the first time offers a low-noise keystroke option with the Cherry MX Silent key switch. As mentioned, other key switch options include or Cherry MX Red, MX Brown, MX Blue, and Rapidfire MX Speed. The keyboard sports an aluminium frame with a soft-touch wrist-rest for more comfort during long hours of gaming. It has a USB 2.0 pass-through port, textured keycaps for letters - WSAD and QWERDF, and 8MB onboard storage. You can customise the lighting the way you please with individually addressable RGB backlighting. The company has also launched the new K70 RGB MK.2 SE which sports a silver anodised aluminium frame, and white key caps.

Coming to the Corsair Strafe RGB MK.2 mechanical keyboard range offers only Cherry MX Silent and Cherry MX Red key switch options. The Cherry MX Silent key switch reduces noise by as much as 30 percent. The keyboard's exterior is made of plastic, and the Strafe RGB MK.2 boasts vivid per-key RGB backlighting, 8MB of onboard profile storage, a detachable wrist rest and dedicated media keys. It is also powered by Corsair iCUE software for synchronised lightning.

The company notes that all K70 RGB MK.2 and STRAFE RGB MK.2 mechanical keyboards are backed by a two-year warranty, and are eligible for worldwide customer service and technical support. In the US, the Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 mechanical keyboard paired with Cherry MX Red, Cherry MX Blue, or Cherry MX Brown are priced at $229.99 (roughly Rs. 15,600), while the Cherry MX Speed and Cherry MX Silent variants are priced at $239.99 (roughly Rs. 16,300).

The Corsair Strafe RGB MK.2 mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Silent costs $219.99 (roughly Rs. 14,900) and the Cherry MX Red key switch costs $209.99 (roughly Rs. 14,200).
