The name iBall will be familiar to pretty much any Indian who has bought or used a PC in the last decade or so. The company's keyboards, mice, webcams and speakers are extremely popular thanks to their low prices, even if they aren't exactly known for the highest standards of quality. The number of product categories offered by the company has grown over the years, and it has of course jumped into the Android smartphone and tablet space.
iBall Andi 5K Panther Summary
iBall's Andi 5K Panther is yet another low-cost offering, although this time the company has gone with the common Mediatek MT6592M and slapped the octa-core label on its new model. While the CPU makes day-to-day usage smooth, the software seems to have a number of bugs and the build quality is less than reassuring. The screen was particularly disappointing to us, with a terribly low resolution and poor colour reproduction. Sound quality was also below par. On the other hand, the camera was actually pretty good. Despite its low price, we cannot recommend this phone - there are many better options available in the market.
