Ahead of the release of Microsoft's latest preview build of Windows 10, a build has been leaked to the Web and revealed several upcoming features. Build 10036 of the Windows 10 Technical Preview reportedly sports new icons, functions and the use of peer-to-peer (P2P) protocol for updates.

The new option inside the leaked build allows the Windows 10 users to enable their systems to download apps and OS updates "from more than one place" or multiple sources to "get them more quickly". Users can either download the updates from Microsoft and PCs on local network, or Microsoft and "PCs on the Internet."

The Microsoft Windows 10 update via P2P protocol is said to powered by the company's acquisition of Pando Networks in 2013 that is a maker of P2P file sharing solution similar to BitTorrent. Microsoft has not yet confirmed any of the details leaked in the Windows 10 build.
