When manufacturers get into price wars with each other, it's customers who win the most. Lenovo has fired the latest salvo, bringing full-HD 1080p screens to the sub-Rs. 10,000 market. The Lenovo K3 Note is a 5.5-inch smartphone with specifications that would have been pretty much top tier not more than two years ago.The company is breaking new ground in terms of value for money, but not so much in terms of strategy. The K3 note is available only in limited numbers and only through flash sales through an exclusive tie-up with a major online retailer. It will be in demand because of the specifications it promises; according to Lenovo nearly 50,000 of them were grabbed in just over five seconds in the first flash sale.

Lenovo K3 Note Summary

We weren’t expecting to see 1080p screens on smartphones costing less than Rs. 10,000, but Lenovo has proved us wrong by launching the K3 Note. Amazingly, there are no significant compromises in order to accommodate this feature; the processor is an octa-core MediaTek MT6753, there’s 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, and even the software is up to date. Camera performance was a little disappointing, and battery life didn’t met our expectations without exceeding them. However performance was snappy, even in gaming tests. Not everyone likes phones this huge, but for those who do there are very few reasons not go choose the Lenovo K3 Note.

  • Very BAD mobile
Mohit Soni (Apr 7, 2016) on Gadgets 360
Hii Guys I'm writing this comment because I am very very frustrating to buy Lenovo K3 Note. Do not trust on company, do not go by features (Like RAM, ROM, Camera Quality and Processor). From the beginning of buying this phone there are a lot of issue. It has some issues which can not be in Guarantee so you can not prove that what is the actual problem. Some of its I will try to explain you so that you will not be cheated. When you see open the contact list it will process very slow you will be unable to search the name by spell quickly it will take time to load. If you will find contact it will take time to get the contact number to see or if you wanna call so it will again take time to connect. It will take time to disconnect the call so your 2 and 3 seconds will be charged by operator while disconnecting. When you unlock the phone by pattern so it will open a camera then you have to go back to operate it. When phone is get hang then you will have to select the restart option but when you click on restart option it will get off but it will take switch on after 20 minutes if you want to restart instantly so you have to get out the battery then get in it again. While using the phone you will never feel that it has 2GB RAM or Octa core 1.7 GHz processor. If you paid so high amount even the mobile is getting hang again and again so I think that there is useless deal. I am not satisfied with this bad company.

  • SIMPLY AWSOME - A BENCH MARKING PHONE FOR SAMSUNG !
    Vinaykumar P Desai (Jun 4, 2015) on Gadgets 360
This phone is expected to be launched in India in July-2015 in the price range of around INR 10000/-. My friends, it would be a steal in this price range. It's a full HD 5.5" display phone with 64-bit Octacore M-Tek processor and 2GB RAM ! It will beat Asus zenfone 2 (INR 15000/=) in the price range, and Mi 4i also. Mi 4i does not support Ext SD card unlike this phone. Mi 4i also has higher SAR values. Latest Lenovo phone in India is A7000, which is not full HD, and was criticized for its poor camera quality. Asus zenfione 2 does not support OTG, A7000 support, so we can expect K3 Note to support OTG. So let's hope that this phone will give us best of both, Asus and Xiaomi ! Then its next rival could be ONLY Huawei (say, Ascend Mate 7) ....but Huawei may be costly ...This K3 Note is superior to Huawei Honor 4X !!
