Airtel Reveals Freebies for Subscribers; Offers Rs. 2,500 Cashback on Flipkart-Exclusive 4G Smartphones

Bharti Airtel on Friday announced #AirtelThanks, wherein it provides rewards to loyal customers. Under the new move, the company said all Airtel customers who commit a monthly ARPU of Rs. 100 and above for their mobile accounts would receive additional benefits at no additional charge. The telco revealed that the list of benefits will include access to premium digital content and online shopping vouchers. Airtel Infinity Postpaid subscribers will additionally be able to get three months Netflix subscription gift worth Rs. 1,500. The benefits of the #AirtelThanks programme would soon be extended to V-Fiber home broadband customers, the official statement by the company said. Further, Airtel has tied up with Flipkart to offer benefits of up to Rs. 4,500 in addition to 100GB bonus data on all Flipkart-exclusive smartphones during the Big Billion Days sale.

Among other benefits, Airtel said that the subscribers on its Infinity Postpaid plans of Rs. 499 and above would get three months Netflix subscription gift worth Rs. 1,500 at no additional charge. Existing Netflix subscribers are also eligible for the three-month subscription gift that will be provided in the form a credit in their Netflix account. Notably, the subscription gift can be availed through the Airtel TV app and MyAirtel app.

In addition to the benefits on Netflix for postpaid subscribers, Airtel is giving access to premium ZEE5 content to all its prepaid and postpaid subscribers who commit Rs. 199 and above. Eligible subscribers can access the benefit via the Airtel TV app and watch ZEE5 content, including original series and movies.

Airtel has separately announced its partnership with Flipkart to offer customers benefits up to Rs. 4,500 on Flipkart-exclusive 4G smartphones. The telco is essentially offering a cashback worth Rs. 2,500 to all its prepaid subscribers buying a new Flipkart-exclusive 4G smartphone during the ongoing Big Billion Days sale. The cashback will be credited in the form of 50 digital vouchers of Rs. 50 each. These vouchers can be applied on the next 50 recharges or within 50 months where the recharges are exclusive to unlimited bundled packs of Rs. 199, Rs. 249, and Rs. 440. Further, there will be a digital gift voucher worth Rs. 2,000 from MakeMyTrip. Airtel is also offering 100GB bonus data to customers purchasing a Flipkart-exclusive 4G smartphone. It is worth noting here that the 10GB additional data will be credited on the first 10 recharges, or 10 months, whichever is earlier, of Rs. 199, Rs. 249, or Rs. 448 unlimited bundled packs.

The Flipkart offer is live until the last day of the Big Billion Days sale on the online market and is valid for customers who are buying Flipkart-exclusive 4G handsets and have an Airtel prepaid connection.
