Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G was launched in India on Monday as the third model in the Noida-based smartphone maker's new Virat lineup. The handset joins the Lava Virat V1 5G and Virat V1 4G. The new smartphone is set to go on sale in the country soon via an e-commerce platform. It will be available for purchase in a single RAM and storage configuration and two colour options. The Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G is powered by a Unisoc chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM. It is also equipped with a 6,000mAh battery. It also gets a dual rear camera unit, placed inside a square-shaped camera module.

Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G price in India is set at Rs. 15,999 for the sole variant featuring 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The company is offering up to a Rs. 2,000 bank discount, taking the effective price to Rs. 13,999.

The handset is set to go on sale in the country on August 31 at 12 pm IST via Flipkart. The Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G is offered in Sikkim Midnight and Spiti Frost colour options.

The Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G is a dual SIM budget handset from the tech firm. The handset ships with Android 16 and sports a 6.75-inch HD+ (720 x 1,600 pixels) LCD touchscreen, which offers up to a 120Hz refresh rate and 260 ppi pixel density. The smartphone is equipped with an octa-core Unisoc T8200 chipset, delivering a peak clock speed of 2.6GHz, along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

For optics, the Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G carries a dual rear camera system, headlined by a 50-megapixel AI camera with fixed focus, paired with an unspecified secondary camera. The smartphone also boasts an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The company claims that the handset ships with an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
