Soon after being listed on the official site, the LG F70 has gone on sale at Rs. 18,499 via a third-party online retailer.

LG's new LTE-enabled smartphone, the LG F70, was earlier this week listed on the company's official site at Rs. 19,500 with no word on availability details.

Initially announced in February at MWC, the LG F70 is targeted at the LTE consumers in the country and supports 4G LTE bands of 1800, 2300, and 2600 frequency, highlight of the handset. Notably, Xolo launched its first smartphone with 4G support, the LT900, in the same price range late last year.

The Android 4.4 KitKat-based LG F70 comes with a 4.5-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) IPS display and offers a pixel density of 208ppi. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor (unspecified chipset) alongside 1GB of RAM. It's worth noting that the LG F70 is a single SIM device.

The LG F70 sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with CMOS sensors and also packs a VGA front-facing camera. The rear camera also has the capability to shoot and playback videos in full-HD resolution. The handset bears 4GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB). Users would also receive 50GB of cloud storage on Box application.

Apart from 4G LTE, other connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and A-GPS. LG F70 is backed by a 2440mAh (removable) battery, measures 127.2x66.4x10mm and weighs 129.6 grams. The handset is available in Black and White colour variants on Infibeam.

The new LG F70 also comes preloaded with the company's advanced UX feature, Knock Code, which is an upgrade to the KnockON feature that was introduced in the flagship 2013 smartphone, the LG G2.
