@evleaks has posted multiple alleged screenshots of LG G3's QuickWindow lock screen user interface, and the images tip upcoming smart cases that will be launched alongside the smartphone. The various alleged screenshots of the LG G3 showcase a number of apps such as clock, weather widget, health app, dialler app, SMS, gallery and a quick notification panel in the circular interface, thought to work with the smart cases that should feature a circular hole allowing access to the QuickWindow UI.
It's worth noting that LG released a QuickCover case for Nexus 5 that was even available via Google Play India. We can expect the rumoured cases for LG G3 to be on the lines of the QuickCover case of the Nexus 5, with the exception of the new circular hole. Notably, the company had released QuickWindow cases (with a rectangular hole) for the LG G2 in July last year, ahead of the smartphone's launch.
The LG G3 is all set to launch on May 27 in three cities - London, New York, San Francisco - followed by a May 28 launch in Singapore, Istanbul, and Seoul. It has been confirmed to feature a 5.5-inch QHD AH-IPS LCD 534ppi display by the company.
Based on earlier reports, the LG G3 is said to come with a 13-megapixel rear camera with the new Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS+); rear mounted speaker offering 1W output, and a 3000mAh battery capacity. The smartphone is also rumoured to come with a Snapdragon 805 processor.
In addition, serial tipster @evleaks has claimed that LG G Flex's successor will arrive by Q1 2015. Tipster said on Twitter, "LG G Flex 2 coming mid-Q1 2015, possibly with a feature even more unique than self-healing plastic." We can for now only speculate what that feature is.
The LG G Flex (Review | Pictures) reached Indian shores in February carrying a massive price tag of Rs. 69,999.
